This Reseller Privacy Policy describes how Azteco Holdings USA, Inc., with its office at 1716 12th Street, Santa Monica, CA 90404 (collectively, ‘Azteco,’ ‘we,’ and ‘us’) collects, uses, discloses, transfers, stores, retains or otherwise processes your information when a person or business applies or signs up for an Azteco Reseller Account.

This Reseller Privacy Policy applies to your use of our Services, and covers information collected in connection with your access to and use of our Services. Our Reseller Privacy Policy explains:





1. Information collected


Information you provide to use the Service

We collect information you provide when you apply or sign up for an Azteco Reseller account, authenticate into your account, communicate with us, or use the service in any way. The information we collect is necessary for us to provide the Services to you, and we cannot provide the service unless we collect it.

The information that we collect includes:

  • Your name; email address; postal address; phone number; your IP address and bank account details.

  • When you top up your pay-as-you-go account or otherwise interact with your Azteco Reseller account to make, accept, request, or record payments, we collect information about when and where the transactions occur, a description of the transactions, the amounts and the methods used to complete the transactions.

Automatically collected information

We automatically collect information about you and the devices you use to access the Services, such as your computer, mobile phone, or tablet to offer the service in an orderly manner. We collect this information to:

  • Provide, improve, develop and secure the Reseller Portal, products services and applications

  • Display your name(s) on your Reseller Account(s)

  • Check the the routing information when you are making a payment to us



  • Obey applicable Delaware law.

The information we log includes:

  • Geolocation Information, your IP address, device language for localization, and location of your network provider. Information about your device, including your hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifier, mobile network information, and information about the device’s interaction with our Services.

  • Use Information. Information about how you use our Services, including your access time, “log-in” and “log-out” information, browser type and language, country and language setting on your device, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, the domain name of your Internet service provider, other attributes about your browser, mobile device and operating system, pages you visit on your Reseller Instance, features you use, the date and time of you accessed your Reseller Instance, the referring URL, and in general, data about the way you interact with your Reseller Portal

  • Employee Information. Information you submit to set up a sub-reseller.

Outsourced information

We may at our discretion collect information from other sources and merge that with information we collect from you. We have no control over how third parties provide your information, process your personal data, and cannot respond to information requests regarding the disclosure of your personal information. All requests for such information should be directed to those third parties.

The information we may collect about you from third parties includes:

  • Identity information from third-party verification services reference agencies, identity verification agencies, social media agencies and through companies which provide third party analytics. Credit bureau when you apply for credit from us, financial institutions, mailing list providers, and other publicly available sources. Where lawful, this information can include your government ID information. We do identity verification checks for the purposes of fraud detection and prevention.

  • To the extent permitted by applicable laws, we may obtain background check reports from public records of criminal convictions and arrest records. We may use your information, including your full name, government ID number, and date of birth, to obtain such reports.

  • We may collect information about you from third parties in connection with any credit investigation, credit eligibility, identity or account verification process, fraud detection, or collection procedure, or as may otherwise be required by applicable Delaware law. This includes, without limitation, the receipt and exchange of account or credit-related information with any credit reporting agency or credit bureau globally and where lawful, and any person or corporation with whom you have had, currently have, or may have a financial relationship, including without limitation past, present, and future places of employment, financial institutions, and personal reporting agencies.





2. Use of your information

We collect information about you when you sign up for the Azteco Reseller Service to help us provide the service to you. We do so when we determine that it is in our legitimate business interests to collect and process this information, whilst respecting your natural desire for privacy.

We use information about you to:

  • Provide, improve and develop the Reseller Service

  • Determine whether the Services are available in your country. We process Location Information to verify if we are able to process your request.

  • Process or record payment transactions or money transfers, and otherwise provide you with the Azteco Reseller Portal service. We need this information to fulfill our obligations arising out of the Terms of Service entered into between you and Azteco. Information required for these reasons include identification Information, transaction Information, and contact Information.

  • Display historical transaction information. As set out in our Terms of Service, we will provide information regarding your transaction history, including regular statements. We therefore need to collect and process this information to satisfy our obligations to you.

  • Provide, maintain and improve the Reseller Service. It is in the Azteco Reseller and Azteco’s mutual interest to collect and use this information to run our business.

  • Developing new products and Services. It is in the Azteco Reseller and Azteco’s mutual interest to improve our platform and service offering to Resellers in order to develop and grow our business.

  • Delivering the information and support you request, including technical notices, security alerts, and support and administrative messages including to resolve disputes, collect fees, and provide assistance for problems with our Services or your Azteco account. We need to communicate with you to fulfill our own obligations or meet your requests that arise from the Terms of Service between you and us and we need your Identification Information in order to deliver this information to you.

  • Improving, personalizing and facilitating your use of the Reseller Portal. For example, when you sign up for an Azteco Reseller account, we will associate your information with your new account, and we do this in order to ensure that the service is presented in the most effective manner for you.

  • Measuring, tracking and analyzing trends and usage in connection with your use or the performance of the Reseller Portal. We need to understand how the Reseller Portal is used (“analytics”) in order to develop and increase the efficiency of it.

    Communicating with you

  • Sending you information that will be useful or which you have requested from us about the service. We send you information about your account because it is a requirement of the performance and delivery of the service to you. We may ask you to answer a survey in order to facilitate this.

    Safeguarding the service

  • Investigating, detecting and preventing or reporting fraud, misrepresentations, security breaches or incidents to protect your account, including accounting disputes. We do what is necessary and required by law, and to prevent our Services being misused in any way.

  • Enforcing our Terms of Service or other applicable agreements or policies. This is necessary in order to fulfill the obligations between you and us under the Terms of Service.

  • Verifying your identity. We need to verify your identity to comply with our contractual obligations, applicable law, and / or for our legitimate interest in protecting the security and integrity of our Services and your account, or in response to lawful requests for information from the government or through legal process. We do this as required by law.

  • Contacting you to resolve disputes, collect fees and provide assistance with our Services. We process this information to provide you with the service and to measure the adequate performance of our contract with you, and to comply with applicable laws.

    Other uses

  • For any other purpose disclosed to you in connection with Azteco from time to time. If we intend to process your personal data for a purpose other than that set out above, we will provide you with information prior to such processing and will obtain your consent where necessary.

    Some of our processes for how we use your information can involve profiling, automated processing and automated decisions. We need to do this to meet our own contractual obligations, to comply with applicable law (i.e., for fraud prevention purposes or where we are have a good faith belief we are under a legal or regulatory obligation to do so), and as it’s in our legitimate business interests to engage in such automated processing.

    For example:

  • Identity verification: We will engage in profiling and may use automated processing, both directly and through the use of third party identification verification services, to verify your identity.

  • Fraud and crime detection and prevention: We have processes to check that our Service is not being used for any fraudulent purpose. We will use information you provide to access our Service, information you provide to enhance your experience, information we automatically collect from your use of our Services, and information we collect from other sources for this purpose. We regularly check that our processes are up to date and implemented robustly to ensure that we can deliver the Reseller Portal to you and that they are safe to use. We may cancel any account that we find to be used for any fraudulent purpose without notice.

  • Product development and creation: We can process the information you provide to us, the information we collect from your use of our Services and the information we obtain from third parties automatically to improve our products and develop new products. The information we use will help us to understand what is important to our users, and how we can create better products and services.





3. Sharing information



We share information about you as follows:

With other users of our Services with whom you interact

  • With other users of our Azteco with whom you interact through your own use of your Reseller Account. This is necessary to provide our Service to you and fulfill our obligations in our Terms of Service.

    With our affiliates

  • With our group companies, including our parent company, Azteco Holdings USA Inc., and other voucher redeeming partners, for the purposes of providing the service.

    With third parties

  • With third parties to provide, maintain, and improve our Services, including hosting providers who access information about you to perform services on our behalf (e.g., fee collection services), as well as financial institutions, payment networks, payment card associations, credit bureaus, partners providing services on Azteco’s behalf, and other entities in connection with Services.

  • With third parties that run advertising campaigns, contests, special offers, or other events or activities in connection with our Services.

    Business transfers and corporate changes

  • We reserve the right to disclose and transfer all information related to the Services, including personal information, to a subsequent owner, co-owner, or operator of one or more of the Services; or in connection with (including, without limitation, during the negotiation or due diligence process of) a corporate merger, consolidation, or restructuring; the sale of substantially all of our stock and/or assets; financing, acquisition, divestiture, or dissolution of all or a portion of our business; or other corporate change.

    Compliance with the Law

  • If we believe that disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, or to enforce or comply with our General Terms or other applicable agreements or policies or to protect our or our customers access or property or the security or integrity of the Service; or to protect us, users of our Service or the public from harm, fraud, or potentially prohibited or illegal activities

    With your consent

  • With your consent. For example: at your direction or as described at the time you agree to share; or when you authorize a third party application or website to access your information.

    Aggregated and anonymised information

  • We may share at our discretion aggregated and anonymised information that does not specifically identify you or any individual user of our Services.





4. How long we retain your information

We will retain your information as long as is necessary to provide you the Service, maintain the service or to comply with Delaware law. If you deactivate your account, we will retain copies of information about you and any transactions or Services in which you may have participated for a period of time that is consistent with Delaware law, or statute of limitations or as we believe is necessary to comply with Delaware law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, to detect or prevent fraud, to collect fees owed, to resolve disputes, to address problems with our Services, to assist with investigations, to enforce our General Terms or other applicable agreements or policies, or to take any other actions consistent with applicable law.





5. Cookies and trackers

We use various technologies to collect information when you access or use our Services, including placing a cookie or similar technology on your device and using web beacons. We do this to reinforce the integrity of our processes, retain preferences and account settings, and help evaluate and compile aggregated statistics about Reseller activity. We begin collecting information about you as you use our Services. By using our Services, you grant us permission to collect and use your information from activity on devices you use in accordance with this Reseller Privacy Policy, without the explicit consent of an EU mandated acceptance form.

We use cookies to:

  • Remember that you have visited us.

  • Customize elements of the Reseller Portal graphical interface.

  • Collect data about the way you interact with the Reseller Portal.

  • Collect data to assess and improve the Reseller Portal.

  • Collect anonymous statistical information about how you use the Reseller Portal and the location from which you access the Service, so that we can improve the Service and learn which elements and functions of the Services are most popular with our Resellers.

    Some of the cookies used in the Services are set by us, and others are set by third parties who deliver services on our behalf.

    We also collect information using web beacons. Web beacons are an image of any dimension that can be used in our Services or emails. We use web beacons to deliver cookies, track the number of visits to our website, understand usage and campaign effectiveness, and determine whether an email has been opened and acted upon.





6. Third-party analytics

We can use third-party service providers to provide site metrics and other analytics services. These third parties can use cookies, web beacons, and other technologies to collect information, such as your IP address, identifiers associated with your device, other applications on your device, the browsers you use to access our Services, web pages viewed, time spent on webpages, links clicked, and conversion information (e.g., transactions entered into). This information can be used by Azteco and third-party service providers on behalf of Azteco to analyze and track usage of our Services, determine the popularity of certain content, and better understand how you use the Service. The third-party service providers that we engage are bound by confidentiality obligations and other restrictions with respect to their use and collection of your information.

This Reseller Privacy Policy does not apply to, and we are not responsible for, third-party cookies, web beacons, or other tracking technologies, which are covered by such third parties’ privacy policies.

7. Power over your information

Personal information

If you reside in Europe, you waive the “right”:

  • to be provided with access to your personal data held by us on any terms other than those provided by us

  • to request the rectification or erasure of your personal data held by us on any terms other than those provided by us

  • to request that we cease processing your data on any terms other than those provided by us

  • to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data on any terms other than those provided by us

  • to object to profiling activities based on our own legitimate interests

  • to object to solely automated processing

  • to request that your data be transferred to a third party

    Deactivating your account

    If you wish to deactivate your Azteco Reseller account, you can do so by emailing us at support@azte.co with the subject “Deactivating Our Account”.





8. International data transfers

Azteco operates internationally and many of our systems are based in the United States which has different data protection standards to the European Union and the UK. You explicitly authorize us to transfer your personal data to our affiliates outside the European Economic Area, so we may make use of it.





9. Updates to this Reseller Privacy Policy

We change this Reseller Privacy Policy from time to time as required. The revised version will be effective on the date it is posted. If you disagree with any changes, you can cancel your account at any time and/or stop your use of our Services. Your continued use of our Services constitutes your automatic acceptance of any changes to this Reseller Privacy Policy.
